
Boxing Saskatchewan
The role of Boxing Saskatchewan is to govern and administer the sport of amateur boxing in Saskatchewan. Boxing Saskatchewan administers amateur boxing in accordance with the requirements of Boxing Canada and is responsible to ensure the provincial boxing championships take place annually. Boxing Saskatchewan is also responsible for the selection and development of the Team Saskatchewan amateur boxing team.
MISSION STATEMENT
To govern the sport of amateur boxing in Saskatchewan. To grow and develop the three pillars of our sport – boxers, coaches and officials.
To ensure the sport of amateur boxing in Saskatchewan is conducted in a manner that fosters respect, safety and fairness.
To promote the sport of boxing in order to recruit and maintain boxers, coaches and officials
To facilitate the growth and development of Saskatchewan amateur boxers
To encourage growth in the number of competitive opportunities for Saskatchewan amateur boxers
To ensure an environment of safety and fairness in everything related to competitions and an environment of respect and cooperation between all members and boxing clubs.
