seeking a Full Time Boxing Coach.

Responsibilities:
The successful applicant must be a registered coach with the
Canadian Coaches Association and be able to:
- Co-ordinate and conduct
coaching education, certification and upgrade clinics - Compile and distribute
regular communication to members - Identify and encourage
elite athletes - Develop working
relationships with coaches from other provinces and sports - Attend all Provincial
& International competitions and when requested National/International
Competitions - Develop strategies for
attracting and retaining new participants in all areas of the
province - Implement a long term
athlete development program - Provide Technical support
to Boxing Nova Scotia Board of Directors
Qualifications:
- University/college degree
in sport administration, business administration or related employment
experience - Have a good working
understanding of Canadian and Nova Scotia Sport System and the Sport of
Amateur Boxing - Excellent communication
Skills - Applicant must be
Computer Literate
Must have transportation and be able to
travel.
Job requires weekend work.
