CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR BOXING TEAM FOR THEIR EXCELLENT SHOWING AT THE QUEBEC CUP, HELD IN LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC FROM JUNE 26-29, 2008.

UPDATE: Annual General Meeting Time Change

The date of our Annual General Meeting has been changed to Sunday July 6 at 1 p.m. at the Swift Current Friendship Center, Swift Current Sask.

The change was necessary because of a conflicting date with a boxing tournament in Turkey, at which President Frank Fiacco will be Boxing Canada's official.

Quebec Cup

The Board of Directors agreed to send a team to the Quebec Cup, held in Quebec from June 26-29. One of our main criteria for team selection is the Boxer must have entered in the Provincial Championships.

The clubs will be contacted regarding this tournament, but further information can be obtained by calling Graham at 306-789-1271, or 306-525-6678

NAIG Games - Boxing Cancelled

The Boxing portion of the NAIG games has been cancelled by the host due to lack of entries received from the Provinces and the United States. They had wanted 3 entries for each weight class, but did not achieve that goal.

Boxing Card Rescheduled

Congrats to our Boxing Team for their good showing at the Brampton Cup, held in Brampton, Ontario February 1st - 3rd 2008. The medal totals were one gold, two silver and two bronze.
