Boxing Saskatchewan congratulates Stuart Twardzik on winning a gold medal at the 2008 Youth Commonwealth Games in India. Stuart defeated Satinder Satinder of India by a 5-0 score.

Stuart, you have made everyone proud- your family, community and province, as well as Boxing Canada and Boxing Saskatchewan. Gold medals are difficult to get at the International level. You proved it can be done.

 

Stuart Twardzik advanced to the GOLD MEDAL BOUT

by virtue of his 8-7 win over Keiron Harding of Wales at the 2008 Youth Commonwealth Games in India. Stuart's superior skills and conditioning prevailed in this closely contested bout.

Stuart will box Satinder Satinder of India for the Gold Medal on Friday, October 17.

Boxing Saskatchewan wishes Stuart all the best in this, the most important bout of his career.

Stuart Twardzik Wins His First Match In India

Boxing Saskatchewan congratulates Stuart Twardzik on winning his first match at the Junior Commonwealth Games in India. Stuart defeated Tyson Whalley of New Zealand by RSC in the 4th round. Stuart's next bout is tomorrow against Keiron Harding of Wales.

Boxing Saskatchewan is pleased to announce Stuart Twardzik will be competing in the 2008 Youth Commonwealth Games in India from October 12-18.

Talent Identification & Training Camp October 18 & 19, 2008

Boxing Saskatchewan will be holding a Talent Identification and Training Camp for potential Canada Winter Games team members. The Camp will be held:

This camp is the first step in establishing our Canada Winter Games team. In addition to training and conditioning we will be discussing team preparation ideas such as bringing in Daniel Treapnier, the National Technical Director, Sport Medicine and Science programs and future competitions.
